A look back over some of the stats for the English Raven blog in 2011 showed that one post in particular generated not only the most visitation but also the most touching collection of heartfelt comments and testimonials.
As you can see from the visitors graph above, the post about Sam Lee's tragic passing in October this year attracted attention from the wider ELT audience in the form of a pinnacle or mountain... which correlates (based on the comments I have seen) to Sam's reputation in his professional field as well as across a vast circle of friends.
While I do wish the blog could attract attention for more positive tidings, I am touched that Sam's life and passing received the attention it did.
My thoughts again go out to his family, close friends and the good folk at Pearson who had to deal with this tragedy.
