This video popped up in the 'suggestions' when I uploaded my most recent Open English video (not sure the connection is all that strong, but it's always nice to find surprises...).
It's a little over a year old now, but I thought it was an excellent example of reflective teaching and taking a questioning approach to what we do, why, and how. It's also always great to meet a teacher who genuinely cares and isn't afraid to share his/her experiences and questions.
Having taught in North East Asia, I can honestly say that a lot of this young lady's concerns are pretty common to that region (and from what I hear filtering through various streams on the Internet, it's just as common in parts of Europe as well).
What advice would you give this person?
;-D
