I'm talking about OPTIMISM, of course.
I found an article today that talked about essential ways to view optimism and stay optimistic for entrepreneurs involved in small business. Given that most of the great educators I have known have generally had some sort of entrepreneurial spirit, I found the following list of seven tips for optimism surprisingly relevant to teaching as well:
1. Imagine the future
2. Expect good results
3. Find the upside
4. Self-reflection
5. Revel in others' success
6. Beware optimistic illusions
7. The right frame of reference
You can read about these seven tips in more detail in the original article here.
What do you think?
Do these sum up many of the ways we can maintain optimism as educators?
What would you add to the list?
