I know I have already announced the winding up of this blog in another post, but given I have just returned from an appearance at a major conference in Korea this past weekend, I thought it would be a waste not to post about that as a nice way to tie things up. I've divided this finale into two posts - one here to feature a plenary talk about ways ahead for ELT materials design (as well as a follow up interview), and another to follow soon in the way of a guest post from participants in the unplugged teaching workshop I facilitated at the event.
The KOTESOL National Conference 2011 was a fabulous event all round and definitely worth the trip. My sincere thanks and appreciation to the organisers and participants!
Here is the recorded version of the plenary talk:
And here is the follow up interview with the gifted Jeff Lebow from Koreabridge.net (among other things, I talk in detail about my decision to move away from ELT and try something new):
Stay tuned for Part 2 and the guest post about teaching unplugged!
Cheers,
- Jason
