This offers a bit of an inside view into the way I develop material and activity ideas for teaching English, both for myself and potentially for others to use.
The version at the top is what I would take into class.
The version beneath it is some initial pondering about what I might do with the class. Based on an unplugged approach, these ideas are just some of many options I might consider based on what was starting to sprout in class. But playing around and plotting in advance can be a great way to bring a range of options closer to the "live teaching surface" -- the one you need to deal with when doing the real thing.
It's also a demonstration of an ongoing quest I've had for a couple of years now to develop a more unplugged coursebook format.
