David Wicks put me onto this article from Paul Miller about the (completely fictional, just messing about with ideas) Mozilla Seabird phone concept.
Not sure how feasible some of these features are in the short-term future, but in terms of functionality, imagine being able to walk into class (or anywhere else you care to meet a group of learners, for that matter!) with one of these in your pocket... The things we could do!
The future for edtech often strikes me as being almost absurdly exciting.
