I'm a big fan of Larry's, and to be honest, if you're here reading my blog, then you could probably be spending your time more effectively by being over at his blog and reading his stuff!
Anyway, Larry has exhibited his usual extraordinary generosity and recently provided public access to his entire online US History Curriculum for English language learners. Blogs (his and students'), lesson plans and materials - you name it, it's all there.
CBI (Content-based Learning) and CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning - why do the Europeans have to name everything differently? CBI as a term has been around much longer and as far as anyone can tell basically means the exact same thing) are pretty popular movements in ELT these days, so I think Larry's curriculum and materials (and let's not forget his great ideas!) could become an amazing resource for teachers. Remember also that Larry's specific specialisation is with ESL, so you can expect this stuff to be much more teacher and student friendly than just regular mainstream history content.
Get on over there - and, um - yeah, remember that it's probably better to follow his blog than mine...
:-)
