Comments

What a terrific article! It's a comment on Helen Lee's own hard work and your innovative program. Great job both of you!

Helen's article reminds me partly of the situation in Germany where many middle class children have got used to their parents' standard of life. On the other hand middle class (and other) young people travel a lot and become aware of conditions in other parts of the world - and see Germany
slightly differently when they return. There is also widespread unemployment and poverty in Germany, partly amongst the immigrant population. So the picture is more complex here. Perhaps what many university students come to learn very quickly is that university studies are not a very relevant preparation for subsequent life.

Thank you for your comments. It was my first time to post my own essay, so I was nervous about people's opinion about my essay. However, thanks to your comments, I could be confident with my work.
Thanks again! :)

Well done, Helen.

It takes a lot of courage to put your ideas up in print. You have done very well.

Please note also that you have progressed through the Korean education system and have been very successful.

The ideas you have are very interesting, and Korea needs such creative thinking. Please keep thinking and asking questions throughout your life.

Things are changing in Korea now. They are changing more quickly than most people realize. I feel that you will have many opportunities to make that change meaningful and effective.
